A new Redmi smartphone with model number 21121210C has appeared on TENAA, Geekbench and 3C certification sites. According to the platforms, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and will support 120W fast charging.
These specs suggest that the recently spotted phone could be the upcoming Redmi K50 Pro. The Geekbench 5 performance test platform has confirmed that the Redmi 21121210C has scored 1226 points and 3726 points in the single-core and multi-core tests.
Also, the Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor codenamed taro, and it will come with 1 + 3 + 4 cores with a peak speed of 3.0 GHz. The processor will be paired with 12 GB of random access memory (RAM), and the phone will also come with the Android 12 operating system.
In other words, Redmi 21121210C could be powered by a Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 1This news is consistent with a previous report that the Redmi K50 series will be the cheapest phone with this flagship processor.
The Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro + were the only phones launched in the K40 series last year and powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. Similarly, the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom were the only phones launched under the K30 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC processor.
Redmi recently released a teaser earlier this week confirming the imminent launch of a phone with a 4,700mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. So it is likely that the Redmi K50 Pro will include a battery of this capacity.
