Leaked Redmi K50 Pro case reveals camera redesign

Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Redmi K50 series in February, and at least four devices are expected in the series. A phone cover, developed for the Redmi K50 Pro, appeared online, suggesting a brand new camera design for the rear camera.

Soon after the leaked image, reproductions of the alleged phone also appeared, thanks to a website called Xiaomiui. The device is very similar to the Xiaomi Civi, though the triple cameras lined up in a triangular setup are somewhat vivo implemented first with the X60 series.

This Redmi K50 phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the side. However, this does not necessarily mean that the screen becomes an LCD. Xiaomi is famous for implementing AMOLED monitors and still putting the sensor on the side, as was the case with the Redmi K40 series.

According to the sources, the device will have a 6.67 ”screen with Full HD + resolution, and it will have a 120Hz refresh rate.

The pictures of the case also reveal a cutout on top for the noise-canceling microphone, for a small speaker, and what is likely to be an IR blaster. At the bottom there is no 3.5 mm audio jack – only for USB-C, the primary microphone and speaker.
