Apple breaks $3 trillion market cap threshold

Apple exceeded the market value of $ 3 trillion for a short period before going back just below that figure. The stock price reached as high as $ 182.94, but is now just below $ 180. It would need to close above $ 182.86 to end the day at record high market value.

It took Apple about 16 months after it broke $ 2 trillion in value back in August 2020. Per market value, Apple is currently the most valuable company in the world.

Market analysts argue that it would be much harder for Apple to reach $ 4 trillion in market value than it was to hit $ 3 trillion. Unless Apple releases a new groundbreaking product, it could be a few years down the road.

Apple has found great success during the ongoing pandemic thanks to a relentless demand for its iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch and Airpod devices.
