T-Mobile’s latest ‘Un-carrier’ move includes free 5G phones and unlimited plan upgrades for all
T-Mobile “warned” us all just last week that “something big” was planned for today, but while Magenta apparently primarily refers to a message from home (HInt) of some sort, the latest “Un-carrier” move is very much aimed at the operator’s wireless customers it really is a big deal.
We’re talking about something that’s really changing games for both new and existing postpaid T-Mo subscribers (as usual), as anyone can get a free 5G-enabled smartphone by shopping in any kind of old mobile device. Yes, even “stupid” phones are accepted in “Un-carrier’s” new 5G flavor exchange program that goes straight into the jugular for a surprisingly nice campaign recently launched by Verizon.

Take it, Verizon and AT&T!

It is clear that T-Mobile is not happy with that current 5G user base and will try to increase it significantly by providing all for free Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (after 24 monthly invoice credits). By no means the world’s most impressive 5G-compatible handset comes 6.5-inch with a large 5,000 mAh battery under the hood, as well as four beautiful cameras that are slung on the back.

But that’s actually not all T-Mo reveals today, with the so-called “big unlimited 5G trading program” targeting some of Verizon and AT & T’s latest shenanigans by offering a free switch to an unlimited 5G plan for everyone who is currently limited by the competition’s limited 5G service options.

According to CEO Mike Sievert, no less than 60 million Americans are still sitting on “limited data plans” from Big Red or Ma Bell, and most of these people have either limited access or no access at all to the two airlines. ‘ 5G network.

T-Mo obviously wants as many of these people as possible to end up in their existing numbers the country’s second largest provider of wireless services, and to make the transition silky smooth, the operator will provide you with both unlimited data and unlimited access to the largest 5G network site at the “same or better price” than what conventional carriers are currently charging.

Welcome to the year for 5G!

The age of 5G may have been technically started back in 2019, but 2021 is broadly expected to be the year where 5G speeds and especially 5G phones will be ubiquitous. T-Mobile is definitely looking to contribute to it, giving everyone plenty of time to find a working Sidekick from 2008 that lies around the house with no screen or water damage and swaps it for the above Galaxy A32 5G smartphone.

Believe it or not, you have from April 18 to the end of the year (!!!) to take advantage of the recently unveiled “Great Free 5G Phone Upgrade” and “Great Unlimited Trade-Up” promotions. In addition, the latter agreement will target existing T-Mobile postpaid subscribers to limited data plans, including all former Sprint customers, in addition to those making an unavoidable switch from Verizon or AT&T.
Just in case “Un-carrier’s” new special offers didn’t seem aggressive and inclusive enough, T-Mo also takes care of Apple fans who want to upgrade to 5G-enabled iPhone 12 without using an arm and a leg. While it obviously will not be that easy to get the A14 Bionic powerhouse for free as it is the mid-range Galaxy A32 5G, all you need to do is drop a member of 2019 iPhone 11 family in good condition.
Trading “most older iPhone models” (numbers 7 to X) helps you cut 50 percent off the regular 6.1-inch price iPhone 12 5G without jumping through other hangers, while a fully functional iPhone 5s, 4 or even a 3GS will be enough to save you half the minimum iPhone 12 mini usually costs. This promo does not last all year roundremember, expires already on May 1 after starting on April 18.
