Which phones can get Android 12 Beta?


During the I / O event, Google announced that the first smartphones to access the Android 12 beta will not surprisingly include Pixel phones. You will need to use Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G) or Pixel 5. If you have one Asus Zenfone 8, you can download Android 12 beta for that phone from Asus’ website. The site also has step-by-step instructions on how to install it and what features are not yet working, such as fingerprint sensor and face lock.

If you are using a recent Android phone made by Realme, Sharp, Tecno, TCL or ZTE, please refer to Google “Partners and qualified entitiespage for relevant Android 12 beta downloads and instructions.
If your smartphone or brand is not included there, Android 12 beta is not available to you right now, but it may be in the future. You can ask the manufacturer of your phone when and if you can expect an Android 12 beta to be available.

How to install Android 12 Beta on Pixel phones

Again, installing beta software is not recommended unless you are a developer, but if you are set on it and have a qualified Pixel smartphone, you can now download Android 12 from this side. Google has provided different downloads for each qualified Pixel phone.
Afterwards, enable USB troubleshooting on your Pixel smartphone via the Developer Settings menu, connect your phone to your computer via USB and on your computer navigate to Google Android Flash tool page. The Android Flash tool will guide you through the rest.
