Samsung is finally expected to unveil their Galaxy S22 series flagships in about two weeks. The countless leaks over the past few months have left little or nothing unknown at present, however Roland Quandt is here to fill us in on one of the more important aspects – pricing. The Baseline Galaxy S22 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage starts at € 849 in Europe, which converts to around $ 960.
Whoever said the S22 series should be cheaper did not think of Covid, lack of spare parts and inflation.

If you go up to € 899, you will reportedly get an 8/256 GB model. The Galaxy S22 + starts at € 1,049 for the 8 / 128GB model and goes up to € 1,099 for the 8 / 256GB trim. The interesting thing comes when we look at the S22 Ultra with the base version, which only gets 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for the great price of 1,249 €. This is quite strange as the S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra both started with 12GB of RAM in their baseline trim levels.
12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of the S22 Ultra will reportedly go for € 1,349, while the top model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage will peak at € 1,449. It’s also worth noting the absence of a 16GB RAM trim, but we’ll just have to wait and see if these rumors end up being true.
