Gurman: 2022 iMac Pro to come with M1 Pro/Max chipset
In his latest newsletter, Mark Gurman describes Apple’s 2022 iMac Pro update, which is said to come with Cupertino’s current generation M1 Pro and Max chipset. The upcoming all-in-one desktop will reportedly come with a design similar to the current M1 iMac, but with a larger screen diagonal – probably 27 inches. Apple previously stopped its old Intel-powered iMac Pro back in March last year.
In addition to the iMac Pro rumor, Gurman says that the AirPods Pro 2 will bring a stylish design that should look like the Beats Studio Buds, which was launched last summer.
The design update has been rumored for a while now, and older speculation suggests that Apple will also debut its new W2 in-house chip along with the new Pro Airpods. The new earphones can also get motion sensors for basic fitness tracking.
